Pumping Voids
Voids Under The Concrete Slab are discovered or created in the affected area when lifting the foundation slab. We will pressure fill the voids with grout, significantly improving the uniform support of the slab with DOUBLE SUPPORT, PIERS and GROUT. This step prevents an area of the concrete slab from collapsing later and possibly creating additional structural problems that go beyond the original problem with the foundation.
Common house slabs, four inch ( 4" ) thick concrete with steel bar reinforcement, are intended to rest on solid material, soil with no voids present.
Instead of leaving parts of the slab in mid air, we fill these voids, complimenting and completing the support of the structure with concrete piers or pilings we have placed under the slab.
We will also pump grout under slabs that were repaired by other companies.
